DONALD TRUMP FILES LAWSUITS AGAINST FACEBOOK, TWITTER AND GOOGLE
Ex-president of the United States of America Donald Trump announced his intention to sue Facebook, Twitter and Google. The reason for this was the ‘illegal shameful censorship’, to which, according to Trump, resorted the technology giants.
A loud statement was made in New Jersey as part of the businessman’s speech. Trump announced a class action lawsuit along with the America First Policy Institute.
The claims will be to stop the activities of social networks, and to end illegal censorship, blocking accounts and blacklists. What is more, the imposition of fines will be announced.
In his speech, the ex-head of the United States noted that he did not know how the process would develop, but did not count on a peaceful settlement of the dispute. Trump also expressed the hope that the upcoming trial would become a significant turning point for the entire country.
We should recall that at the beginning of this year, Donald Trump was deprived of the opportunity to publish posts from accounts in several social networks at once. This happened immediately after an attempt to seize the Congress building by citizens supporting Trump. At that moment, the decision to approve the results of the presidential elections, in which Donald Trump was defeated, was being made there.
