DONALD TRUMP FILES A LAWSUIT TO SUSPEND VOTE COUNTING

It became known that the campaign of the current US President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit to suspend the counting of votes in the state of Georgia.

Similar lawsuits were filed in Pennsylvania and Michigan states. Experts note that in this way Trump will have the opportunity to challenge the results of the vote.

According to the claims of the lawsuit, observers should have improved the access to the processing and counting of votes.

At the same time, the representatives of the election commission of Georgia have already announced that they would finish counting by nightfall - it is noted that there are about 142,000 ballots.

Earlier, Trump's campaign said that the suspension of the counting of votes is necessary due to the fact that "the Democrats are hiding the counting of ballots from Republican observers." The plaintiffs want the counting to be done openly and in accordance with the law, and information about "ballot stuffing" in favor of his rival, Joe Biden, is circulating among Trump's supporters.

It is worth noting that in all three states indicated in the lawsuits, Trump was in the lead, but at some point the situation has changed dramatically, and Biden has come out ahead.
