Deposit Insurance Agency is driving a casting and mechanical plant in the Urals to bankruptcy
On January 18, 2022, Chelyabinsk Arbitration Court received a claim from the DIA state corporation demanding that the Chebarkul Casting and Mechanical Plant be declared insolvent. The amount of the stated claims is only 300 thousand rubles. Other information on this case (No. A76-1236/2022) has not yet been made public.
Public interest in the organization, which has existed since May 2013, may be associated with the name of its owner Vyacheslav Yulik, who also previously owned the bankrupt ‘UralKrAZ’ OJSC. Yulik himself was declared insolvent a year ago, and in relation to his property, the court introduced an asset disposal procedure.
The names of the twin brothers Vyacheslav and Maxim Yulik became widely known in the region in connection with the case of the raider seizure of the ‘UralKrAZ’.
In the authorized capital of the organization, 40% was assigned to Vyacheslav Yulik, and 60% belonged to Viktor Oreshkin.
In 2010, the brothers forged the minutes of the shareholders' meeting. Maxim Yulik, who legally became the majority shareholder of the plant, was introduced to the founders with shares for 290 thousand. Valery Oreshkin, thus, remained with a share of 1.94% of all shares.
During the process, it turned out that the brothers caused damage to the company for 66 million rubles. Maxim Yulik was detained in August 2014. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison, but was released on parole after serving only two-thirds of his term.
Vyacheslav Yulik, who was hiding from justice in Israel, was subsequently deported from Turkey. He received a three-year suspended sentence as punishment. Despite the recognition of guilt (under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code), the court took into account the military past of the offender (the medal ‘For Courage’ and participation in military operations). The prosecution failed to appeal the verdict.
