COMMUNICATIONS PROVIDER OF SEVASTOPOL IS AT RISK OF BANKRUPTCY

Sevastopol-Telecom fix line provider is on the verge of bankruptcy due to the debt of 10 million rubles. The initiative to drive the company to bankruptcy was put forward by the local company Regionstroy, which is the former partner of Sevastopol-Telecom in the construction of communication networks. The relevant claims have already been submitted to the commercial court of Sevastopol.

It is known that from six claims of Regionstroy, the bankruptcy petition itself has not yet been accepted by the court. At the same time, experts of the Crimean communications market doubt that the bankruptcy will take place. The size of companies of the plaintiff and the defendant is not comparable, since Regionstroy is a company with a minimum authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles, while the capital of Sevastopol-Telecom exceeds half a million rubles.

The provider itself has financial claims against the CCN company (Sevtelekomsvyaz), known under the Sevmobile brand, demanding 192 million rubles from it.

It is known that a significant part of the debt is 115 million rubles, which Sevmobile was obliged to transfer under an agreement with a company that owns a license to provide cellular services. Sevmobile itself provides services according to the model of a virtual cellular operator, working on the networks of Sevastopol-Telecom.

In fact, experts recall that both organizations emerged in 2014 after Crimea and Sevastopol became subjects of the Russian Federation.

The nationalized assets of Ukrtelecom were transferred to a unitary enterprise formed for this purpose, which was subsequently incorporated. In turn, the assets of the Kyivstar Company, which carries out cellular communications in Ukraine by analogy with the Russian owner of the Beeline brand (VimpelCom) and part of the Veon holding, were also nationalized and transferred to the same Sevastopol-Telecom company.

Experts note that in 2014, the main telecom operator in Sevastopol entered into a partnership agreement with the Moscow company IT Progress, effectively creating CCN as a joint venture, in which the Moscow side received a 51% stake and the rest (49%) was acquired by Sevastopol-Telecom ", but IT Progress was a part of the large Progress holding, which was declared insolvent last year.
