The alleged crime took place in 1965. The musician is also accused of drug use.
The corresponding lawsuit was filed with the Supreme Court of New York. Dylan is believed to be 24 years old at the time of the rape. The lawsuit says that in the spring of 1965, the musician and the girl had an ‘emotional bond’ that he used for sexual assault.
It is reported that Bob Dylan inflicted psychological trauma on the victim, which haunts her up to the present.
The victim's side assures that after the violence, the girl suffered from depression, anxiety and other consequences of trauma. There is no specific evidence in the lawsuit itself, but the lawyer said that all of them would be presented in court.
Bob Dylan's representatives have already reacted to the statement, noting that this 56-year-old information is not true. It is also reported that the musician will be able to refute the accusation.
As a reminder, Bob Dylan is a popular American
author, musician, artist, writer and actor. He is also the owner of the Nobel
Prize in Literature ‘for the creation of a new poetic language in the song
tradition’.
