BITMEX CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGE IS ACCUSED OF FRAUD

The California Northern District Court received a lawsuit from BMA LLC against the BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange. The defendant is accused of a number of cases.

The main ones are: fraud, dishonest actions, cryptocurrency market manipulations, money laundering etc. A lawsuit has also been filed against the founders of the cryptocurrency exchange - Ben Delo, Arthur Hayes and Samuel Reed.

The plaintiff stated that BitMEX did not have a license to make financial transactions, but at the same time the exchange was transferring $ 3 billion daily. It is noted in the claim that these are record amounts for this kind of illegal operations. The plaintiff also stated that BitMEX maliciously manipulated the market, using the futures with low liquidity.

Another interesting fact is that the plaintiff accused the founders of the exchange of having links with the US government.
