Bankruptcy trustees from Stavropol sued over commercial bribery
A verdict in the case of commercial bribery was passed by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Arkhangelsk. The court found guilty two residents of the Stavropol Territory, who in 2018 decided to ‘earn money’ illegally, having received 3.5 million rubles from the head and owner of the Sever Garant company.

They promised the head of the company to profitably sell her debts at a lower cost and guaranteed to regain control.

The amount of bribery was agreed at 4.5 million rubles.  However, the receipt of the entire amount was prevented by the law enforcement structures, which detained one of the defendants in the case in the Arkhangelsk hotel.  The materials of the operational-search activity received by the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs formed the basis of the investigation.
The defendants refused to admit their guilt at the stage of preliminary investigation, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reports.
Their property for 5 million rubles was arrested, including transport and the real estate they own.

Each of the defendants was sentenced to a fine of 4 million rubles.  The court deprived bankruptcy trustees of the opportunity to hold managerial positions in any commercial organization for 3 years.  At the same time, the court verdict itself has not yet entered into force and can be appealed by lawyers.
