“ARENA” LLC REQUIRES 541 MILLION RUBLES FROM THE COMPANY OF ROTENBERG
The Moscow Arbitration Court received an application from “Arena” Design Institute of Unique Structures LLC with a claim of 541 511 520 rubles to “Stroygazmontazh” LLC.
“Stroygazmontazh” is owned by billionaire Arkady Rotenberg. The company was the general contractor for the construction of the Crimean bridge. “Arena” is engaged in the project of an ice palace construction on Strelka in Nizhny Novgorod, which will become the home stadium of the “Torpedo” hockey club. The cost of the project is estimated at almost 11 billion rubles.
The details of the conflict of the parties have not been disclosed yet, and the case has not yet been taken into production. Most likely, the cause of the dispute was unfulfilled obligations on one of the previous projects of the companies.
