The American Company Apple has filed a lawsuit against Prepear Company to ban the use of its corporate logo.
Prepear is a small company, the design engineers of which have created an application for monitoring the diets, searching for recipes for dishes, and making shopping lists. An image of a pear was chosen and implemented as a logo for the application, which was the reason for the Apple's lawsuit.
According to the representatives of the Apple Corporation, the logo chosen by the creators of Prepear violates the rights of Apple, in connection with which the company demands a judicial termination of use of the pear-shaped logo.
However, the Prepear management does not intend to give up and sees it as their duty to continue the confrontation with Apple, despite the financial losses the company has suffered during litigation. It should be noted that this is not the first attempt of the corporation to suppress the use of the image of fruit in the logos of other companies.
Previously, Apple has repeatedly fought over the use of fruit images by other entrepreneurs. As a rule, the companies retreat, abandoning their logos due to the unwillingness to wage a costly and protracted legal battle with a large corporation.
