APPLE COMPANY FILES A LAWSUIT AGAINST FEDERAL ANTIMONOPOLY SERVICE

At the beginning of the next year, the Commercial Court of Moscow will consider a lawsuit from Apple Inc. to the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The claim was announced on November 23, but its essence has not yet been disclosed.

At the moment, it is known that a dispute has previously arisen between the parties due to an updated version of one of the products of the Kaspersky Lab.

The reason for this was the actions of Apple, which consisted of blocking the new version of Kaspersky Safe Kids in the app store, while the Apple company released the similar product - Screen Time.

This summer, FAS sided with the Russian company, recognizing the fact of abuse by the American corporation.

Apple, in turn, announced its intention to challenge the decision. According to the order issued by the FAS, Apple was obliged to exclude the provision that the company can in any case reject third-party developers from the rules of admission to the App Store.

The order of FAS had to be fulfilled by the end of November, having reported this to the department within 5 days. For today, no information about the execution of the FAS order by the American corporation has been received.
