ANOTHER LAWSUIT. KOSTYA TSZYU SPORTS ACADEMY IS GOING TO GO BANKRUPT AGAIN

The claim for the insolvency of the organization was sent to the court by the company "Karma Leasing", the "daughter" of the Estonian "Karma Development" (case no. A40-34713/2023). The application was submitted to the capital arbitration on February 21, 2023, but has not yet been considered by the court.

For a company bearing the name of a famous Russian boxer, this is not the first lawsuit containing a bankruptcy claim. In September 2020, SME Bank applied to the court with a similar application (case no. A40-182753/2020).

The court hearing on this claim has been postponed many times. The Academy of Sports has repaid the debt under the loan agreement to the bank. Its amount was 41 million rubles. But in November 2022, an individual entrepreneur Yevgeny Pershin filed for bankruptcy. In December 2022, the materials of several cases (A40-243699/2022-66-432 and A40-182753/20-90-295 ) were merged into one production.

The firm sued the company "JAAZZ", which demanded 8 million from it under the supply contract, Rusbankrot told about it. The company "JAAZZ" lost the lawsuit, and in June last year the company was declared insolvent (case no. A41-14765/2022) on the claim of the Federal Tax Service in the amount of 1.6 million rubles.

The legendary boxer, who lives in Australia, owns a 25% stake in the "Academy of Sports". The main beneficiary of the organization is the head of the company Victoria Quint. She owns a 50% stake. Another 25% of the company's capital is registered to Natalia Khomushova. The company has been in existence since 2014. The main activity is the production and wholesale of food products (butter, ice cream, soft drinks).
