ALEXEY NAVALNY IS GOING TO SUIT DMITRY PESKOV FOR HIS STATEMENT ABOUT THE ACTIVIST’S CONNECTION WITH THE CIA

The day before, the German edition of Der Spiegel published an announcement of an interview with Navalny, in which, among other things, he voiced his version of those responsible for what happened to him.

In the opinion of the activist, as he emphasizes that he has no other versions, the President of Russia is behind this crime.

After such a loud accusation, the Kremlin, represented by its press secretary of Vladimir Putin, gave an answer, stating that it had information about the work of the American security services with Navalny.

At the same time, Peskov stressed out that this situation was not the first one.

Responding to the press secretary's statement, Alexei Navalny demanded to present evidence of such cooperation publicly, and also announced his intention to sue Peskov for such statements.

Another government official, Viacheslav Volodin, in turn, supported Peskov's position on the activist’s connection with the special services.

Volodin also stated that Navalny was “sincerely saved by everyone,” including the president of the country.

Volodin, in turn, called the activist a "shameless person and scoundrel", indicating that "only a dishonest person" can make such statements.
