A TEACHER FROM THE KURSK REGION ACCUSED OF EXTREMISM AFTER CRITICISM OF WAGES
A teacher from the city of Sudzha, located in the Kursk region, complained about the low salary, announcing his intention to try to survive on 14,600 rubles and talk about it.  Alexander Mamkin chose one of the social networks as a platform for communicating with the audience, but the very next day after the start of the experiment, the law enforcement officers came to him themselves.

Mamkin was charged with extremism for a post that was published in the winter of 2020. It contained the question of whether there were Bandera members in Sudzha and had a photograph of people depicting fascist symbols.

Mamkin himself claims that the material is completely anti-fascist and wonders, whom the authorities are protecting in reality.

In his post, speaking about fascism and Nazism, Mamkin indicated that he was an absolute anti-fascist, which can be easily seen by reading his other articles. The teacher sees the reaction of the law enforcement agencies as an attempt to bring him to justice for the consequences of his actions aimed at publicizing his own low salary.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kursk region has already commented on the situation, indicating that the visit of the police officers is in no way connected with his desire to draw attention to the level of his income, Kurskie Izvestia reports. The situation concerns another post of his, containing symbols prohibited in Russia, for which the teacher might face administrative liability under Art. 20.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
