A RESIDENT OF SAINT PETERSBURG DEMANDS TO LIFT THE MASK REGIME
A RESIDENT OF SAINT PETERSBURG DEMANDS TO LIFT THE MASK REGIME
The press service of the city court of St. Petersburg reported on the receiving a lawsuit, filed by a resident of the city, Alexander Matveev. The plaintiff opposed wearing masks and gloves in public places.
It is already known that the trial is scheduled for May 26, while the mask regime may be lifted on May 31. We should recall that in accordance with the decree of May 12, the wearing of masks and gloves in the public places of St. Petersburg is compulsory. The plaintiff does not agree with this and demands that the regime should be lifted.
It is necessary to be noted that in the majority of the regions of Russia and countries that have passed through the strict self-isolation, a mask regime has been introduced. However, in Israel, for example, it was allowed not to wear masks due to the extreme heat - the air temperature there is around 40 ° C, wearing a mask in such conditions can be more dangerous than the coronavirus itself.
There are no prerequisites for the abolition of the mask regime in St. Petersburg. Previously, the National Parents Committee proposed to introduce the allowances for masks and other personal protection equipment purchase, because many Russians cannot afford to buy it every day, but he authorities have not reacted on this initiative yet.
