On April 17, 2023, a company from Ivanovo applied to the Arbitration court of the Sverdlovsk region.

The firm demands that Verkhneturinsky Machine-Building Plant be declared insolvent (case no. A60-20188/2023). The amount of the claimed claims amounted to 1,278 million rubles, according to local media.

A60-40765/2022). In 2020, the State Unitary Enterprise "Beads" fulfilled a contract for the supply of workwear for the defendant.

The payment under the contract of the entire amount of contractual obligations "Beads" did not wait. As a result , in October 2022 , the Sverdlovsk arbitration granted the claim to the company in the amount of 1,224,869 rubles. 02 kopecks . Also, 28.1 thousand penalties and 25.53 thousand state duties were collected from the defense plant.

According to sources, the number of financial claims against the machine-building plant from Verkhnyaya Tura has recently increased. The company "Uralsevergaz" applied to arbitration, demanding from the defense company the payment of 9.648 million in debt for the supplied energy resources.

Attempts to recognize the plant as insolvent for several years have been made with enviable regularity. In 2018, Gradostroy applied to arbitration (case no. A60-40879/2018). In 2019, the plant received three bankruptcy claims from the companies TD Metiz Service (case no. A60-12912/2019), TD Trakt (case no. A60-18636/2019) and energy supplier (No. A60-44530/2019). In 2020 and 2021, four bankruptcy lawsuits were also filed against the plant.

It is known that the enterprise founded in the Urals in 1737 in the past was engaged in the production of cannonballs, iron for bayonets and anchors for naval vessels. Currently, the plant produces not only civilian products, but also weapons and ammunition. The company is part of the Rostec Group of Companies. In 2022, the plant came under sanctions related to the military conflict on the territory of Ukraine.

The former head of the plant, Andrey Polyavin, was convicted of bribery in 2022. The ex-head resorted to it in order to adjust the plans of the defense order. As a result, the plant was able to earn an additional 1.2 million. At the same time, Polyavin received a fine in the amount of 350 thousand.
