The Moscow Arbitration Court received a claim from the F-Group LLC with a demand to collect the debt from the Professional Football Club CSKA JSC. The legal case contains the amount of 548 453 455 rubles (À40-118287 / 2020).
The case has already been accepted for the proceedings, the next meeting will be held on September 9, 2020. It is known that the F-Group company participated in the construction of the CSKA stadium in Moscow (VEB-Arena). The organization was announced as a general contractor. CJSC General Directorate Center, which was the technical customer for the construction of the stadium, appears in the claim as a third party.
We should note that F-Group previously filed a lawsuit against CSKA Moscow in 2018, claiming a similar amount.
The reason for the conflict was a forfeit in the amount of 548 million rubles, set by the football club for a delayed completion of work. The plaintiff refused to pay it, after which CSKA withheld this amount from the final amount of payment for the work.
Apparently, the new lawsuit is a continuation of this case. At the last trial, "F-Group" demanded to recognize the actions of CSKA as illegal and return 548 million rubles, but the claim was completely rejected.
F-Group was declared bankrupt in March 2019. Now the insolvency administrator is probably trying to solve an old issue for settling with creditors.
