A COURT TRIAL WILL BE HELD ON BASTA’S CONCERT IN ST. PETERSBURG

The Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing sent the documents regarding the concerts of rapper Basta, which took place on November 27 and 28, to the Nevsky Court of St. Petersburg. The fact is that the visitors did not keep social distance and did not wear face masks.

The accusation against the organizers (Ice Palace) of the concerts states that they did not ensure the division of the flow of people. In addition, it was not possible to ensure that the visitors took their seats during the concerts.

It is known that the organizers do not agree with the claims of the department.

On November 27, 6306 people came to Basta's concert, on the 28th - 6208. If the organizers are proven guilty, they might face a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles or suspension of the activities of the Ice Palace for up to 90 days.

The musician's concerts caused a wide public outcry due to non-compliance with anti-epidemiological requirements, as reported by numerous eyewitnesses on social networks. The Ice Palace stated that the event was agreed, and Basta himself said that there were no violations, and all the complaints were the intrigues of competitors. At the same time, the video, which the rapper himself posted on his Instagram, shows that the visitors are standing without masks.
