WHO WILL CONTINUE WORKING DURING THE QUARANTINE PERIOD?
A month-long weekend regime is a challenge not only for the employees, having a self-isolation period, but also for their employers and the economy as a whole. However, there are areas of activity, the suspension of which will lead to greater problems than a pandemic.

From the very beginning of the non-working day announcements, many enterprises such as power plants, thermal power plants, garbage collection enterprises, public transport, grocery stores, pharmacies and state institutions, continued their activities.

From April 6, the entire categories of companies that are entitled to continue their activity in compliance with sanitary standards or due to the need in safe transportation of employees to and from the workplaces, will appear in the regions. Some organizations will start working remotely.

In particular, industrial and strategic enterprises, the construction sector, continuous-cycle enterprises, the companies, working for the needs of the state and the military-industrial complex (MIC), the companies, implementing national projects, the enterprises, operating with hazardous industrial facilities, the agricultural sector, the chemical and oil industries will continue their work as well as the engineering, metallurgy, mining, forestry and road construction areas.

The list of production of essential goods, including personal protective equipment, sanitary and hygiene products, clothes and shoes, auto parts and tires, will also be expanded.

It is important to note that in each region, local authorities will individually decide on admission to work of specific categories of enterprises, based on the specifics of the region, as well as on the incoming applications.

At the moment, the lists are still being formed and can be expanded.

For example, in the Altai Territory, entrepreneurs and lawyers have already asked local authorities for the permission to work.

In Vladimir and Saratov regions, service enterprises for the repair of automobile and agricultural machinery have already received work permits.

In the Voronezh, Vologda, and Kaliningrad regions, the activities of manufacturers of building materials are allowed.

The defense enterprises have started operating in Tula region, and the self-isolation regime for employees over 65 does not apply to defense industry workers.

In Pskov region, the work permits have been granted to the enterprises, working for export.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, the work of automobile industry enterprises has been resumed (including KAMAZ, “Sollers”).
