VTB DEMANDS BANKRUPTCY OF THE LARGEST APPLE PRODUCER IN THE VORONEZH REGION
A major apple producer in the Voronezh Region is having problems. The Central Chernozem Fruit and Berry Company (TSCHPYAK CJSC) turned out to be the defendant in a new claim submitted to the arbitration Court. The initiator, VTB Bank, demands that the company be declared insolvent. Specific financial claims were not disclosed, but the case has already been registered in the file.

This is just one of the episodes in a series of lawsuits between the company and the creditor. At the same time, two more lawsuits from VTB Bank are being considered in Voronezh. According to the first one, for 142.4 million rubles, the hearing is already scheduled for November 11. Another application related to the filing of claims for pledged assets (their value is 2.4 billion) has been suspended due to procedural issues with the payment of state fees.

The problems are multifaceted. Additional pressure is created by a claim for 210.4 million rubles, which is being considered by the Metropolitan Arbitration Court (AC GM). A meeting on it is scheduled for the end of November.

The history of the organization, founded in the region 23 years ago, demonstrates its deep roots in the agricultural sector. Of these, she worked most of the time (until 2021) as the Novousmansky State Farm artel. The company grew seed and stone crops.

However, the financial results for 2024 indicate difficulties: with revenue of 446 million, a net loss of 26 million rubles was recorded. Yuri Zamyatin runs the company, while information about the owners remains confidential.

Conflicts with counterparties are not uncommon for the CPPAC. Earlier, the Moscow-based Agrouslugi Group, a major supplier of agrochemicals, tried to recover 146 million rubles from the affiliated Central Chernozem Industrial Company LLC, citing debts incurred during the resale of the apple producer's products, which the latter denied.

Thus, the fate of the leading regional apple producer is now being decided simultaneously on several judicial platforms. The upcoming November meetings in Voronezh and Moscow will be crucial for the company's future.
