Voronezh KBHA faces bankruptcy
The Metmash company from St. Petersburg announced its intention to file an application with the Voronezh Arbitration Court (AS VO) demanding that the Design Bureau of Chemical Automation (KBHA JSC) be declared insolvent. The reason for the possible filing of a lawsuit was a debt of 11 million, confirmed by a judicial act.

Legally, the design bureau is part of the NPO Energomash, controlled by Roscosmos State Corporation. Last fall, Metmash filed a lawsuit in the amount of 10.7 million for outstanding obligations for the supply of goods. In early 2025, arbitration satisfied the claim and ordered the Voronezh company to pay the debt.

The St. Petersburg company was established in 2018. The organization is engaged in wholesale supplies. Mikhail Zakirov is the owner and head of the company. Last year, Metmash's revenue amounted to 8.9 million rubles, while its net profit was only 49 thousand rubles.

This is not the only case of litigation involving KBHA. In February 2025, the company lost the case against Ruspolimet, which recovered 127 million rubles from KBKHA. In addition, in June, ESC Energostandart from Voronezh filed two lawsuits at once for a total amount of 305.8 million.

KBHA, which plays a significant role in the rocket and space industry, is under pressure from several large creditors. Against the background of an increase in the number of lawsuits, the company faces the risk of a deterioration in its financial situation and a possible loss of stability.

The development of the situation around the Voronezh bureau may become an indicator of systemic problems in the industry. It is possible that with a further increase in the debt burden, KBHA will find itself in the center of a full-scale bankruptcy procedure initiated by one of the creditors.
