VLADIMIR SOLOVYOV CALLED AN INCIDENT WITH A KICK IN THE STOMACH OF A WOMAN A PROVOCATION
The famous TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov expressed his position on the situation when a riot policeman kicked a resident of St. Petersburg in the stomach within the framework of the Full Contact program. Soloviev said that it was a "well-prepared provocation."
We should recall that the incident took place on January 23 at a rally in support of Alexei Navalny. The video shows how several riot policemen are escorting a young man, and at the same moment, a woman comes out from the sidewalk and asks why they have grabbed him. In response, one of the law enforcement officers kicks the woman in the stomach and she falls, striking her head on the pavement.
According to Solovyov, the woman in the video was not hit, but “pushed away” with a foot.
Soloviev believes that the Russian woman blocked the way of the riot police on purpose, and therefore there should be many questions not only to her, but also to the video operator.
The woman’s name is Margarita Yudina, after the incident she was taken to the hospital. A new video has recently appeared on the Internet. In this video, a riot policeman who hit Yudina came to visit her in the hospital, brought her flowers and apologized. The victim also received an apology from the Police.
However, Margarita Yudina still intends to apply to the Investigative Committee, since she believes that the case should have a legal course, and not a "melodramatic" one. When reporters asked why the woman accepted the policeman's apology, she replied that “he was pleaded for for the whole day”.
