The Stavropol Arbitration Court's website contains information about a new stage in the insolvency case of one of the regional manufacturers of fat and oil products. The bankruptcy trustee (KU) of Agro-Trade filed a petition, intending to involve the former heads of the organization in the subsidy for 81 million rubles.

The company, established in 2019 in Pyatigorsk, specialized in the production of unrefined vegetable oils, processing agricultural raw materials. Despite significant turnover in 2023 – 226.3 million in revenue – the company ended the period with a loss of 1.6 million rubles. This negative financial dynamics eventually led to the inability to meet obligations.

In November 2024, the court declared the company bankrupt. As part of the case, a confirmed debt of 35.4 million was entered into the register of creditors' claims. However, the bankruptcy trustee believes that the actions (or inaction) of the former management led to the deterioration of the financial condition and subsequent insolvency, which gives grounds for collecting funds from them to repay debts.

The lawsuit was filed against the former heads of the organization, Mahir Abdulaev and Madina Akhmedova. It is noteworthy that Mr. Abdulaev is also the beneficial owner of Agro-Trade. This fact increases attention to the role of management decisions made in the company in the formation of prerequisites for bankruptcy.

Thus, the judicial process in the Stavropol Territory is developing according to the classic scenario for modern insolvency procedures: after completing the main stages of bankruptcy, lawyers proceed to work to establish the guilt of the controlling persons and to compensate for damage at the expense of their personal property.
