THE COURT EXTENDED THE BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS OF GOOGLE'S "DAUGHTER"
The Arbitration Court of the capital extended the bankruptcy proceedings against the Russian "daughter" of Google (Google LLC) for another 6 months. In total, over 8.5 billion rubles have been recovered from the bankruptcy estate.
According to the bankruptcy trustee, quoted by the RIA Novosti telegram channel: arbitration cases, pre-bankruptcy transactions are currently being challenged. This includes the resale of advertising space. KU disputes the accrual and payment of funds to some employees of Google LLC in the total amount of over 20 million, as well as payments by the company to the Irish Google Ireland Limited. In addition, a subsidy application has been submitted.
In total, the register of claims of creditors of Google's "daughter" includes claims totaling over 23.3 billion rubles. More than a thousand creditors have declared their claims.
Recall that Google was declared bankrupt in October 2023. The insolvency case was initiated at the request of the organization itself. At the same time, the monitoring was suspended due to a judicial error: in the operative part of the ruling, the court appointed one manager to the company, and another in the final document. Both filed complaints.
The appeal overturned the ruling of the first instance. Valery Talyarovsky from the self-regulatory organization Interregional Center of Experts and Professional Managers was appointed as the manager. Google tried to remove him due to a conflict of interest, but failed to do so.
Roskomnadzor tried to get into the case, arguing that the debtor's bankruptcy affects the interests of the department and the interests of the tax authorities. The appeal rejected the complaint.
Surveillance was introduced in November 2022. At the very first meeting, the debtor's creditors decided to apply to the court with a petition for the introduction of bankruptcy proceedings.
