THE TESLA SHOWROOM IN VORONEZH HAS STOPPED OPERATING 16+
The Voronezh electric car sales project, which opened in 2018 as the first regional showroom, has effectively ceased operations. The salon, which operated under the ABC Electric Motors Club brand, has ceased to exist in its classic format. Tesla cars were once its main focus, but the company did not have the status of an official dealer.

According to Roman Ryabykh, the co-owner, the decision to leave the physical site format is due to the new realities of car imports. The exhibition hall has lost its profitability due to the increase in the recycling fee, which reached almost 5 million rubles in 2026. In addition, the ready-made cars in the warehouse have become uncompetitive in terms of price, as customers are increasingly opting for delayed deliveries to save money.

Today, the company's business has been transformed into a remote format. Instead of a single showroom, the company has retained its office space in Voronezh, but most of its work is conducted remotely. The company's primary focus is on individual vehicle orders. However, the company's focus has shifted from electric vehicles to internal combustion engine vehicles. The company's suppliers are diverse, with China being the leading supplier, followed by South Korea, the European Union, the United Arab Emirates, and occasionally the United States.

The project appeared as a joint initiative of the distributor ABC-Electro (owned by Andrey Sukhoverkhov) and the metropolitan structure Electric Motors Club. The amount of investments at the start was about 40 million rubles. From the very beginning, the organizers did not rely on high-speed payback.

The changes also affected the legal side of the business. In the middle of 2022, the company behind the Voronezh salon switched to other tasks. The legal entity (its former name was "Elgron") turned into the Importtrade company. The organization recalled the initial specialization of electrical engineering. Currently, the company carries out parallel deliveries of various brands (ABB, Schneider Electric, Siemens, etc.).

The Importtrade business has been in existence for 19 years. Stanislav Stukalsky is listed as its head and owner of 10% of shares. The main owner is Sukhoverkhov (through the company "Weller"). Last year's financial results show a decline: revenue decreased (from 912.4 to 825.3 million rubles), and profit decreased (from 47.5 to 6.9 million). However, the company's decision to abandon the unprofitable electric car sales allowed it to achieve a break-even point.

The developments also affected the company's partners in the capital. This spring, a legal entity in the capital (Electric Motors Club Rus LLC) was declared insolvent. Similar processes were completed with respect to Tesla Club (the company is associated with Alexey Eremchuk), who participated in the launch of the Voronezh outlet almost 8 years ago.

Sukhoverkhov's main business was not left out. Last year, information appeared about the merger of ABC-electro with the St. Petersburg-based Electrotechmontazh Trading House. In addition, the company's 2025 financial statements reflected a loss of almost 965 million compared to a profitable 2024. This led to a change in the CEO.
