THE STATE DUMA PROPOSED TO PAY THE SALARIES TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE BANKRUPT COMPANIES

Every year, more and more bankrupt processes are registered in our country. Despite this, the creditors, unfortunately, rarely receive their money back. The procedure can take years, and if the business is able to wait, the employees of the bankrupt companies are more vulnerable and have fewer resources.

In order to relieve the tension and protect the employees of the bankrupt enterprises, the deputy of the State Duma, Sergei Vostretsov, proposed the idea of creating a special salary fund.

The fund can be either a newly created or already existing one, it does not have any fundamental significance. The most important is that the fund should have the authority to pay the employees of the bankrupt companies a part of their salaries in the amount of the minimum wage, the rest of the earnings they will be able to recover in the ordinary way.

According to the parliamentarian, if the payment system works, it will help to reduce the tension in the society, as well as reduce the debts of bankrupts to the creditors.

When it comes to the means of the fund, it will have a right to recover the amounts, paid to the employees, from the bankrupt company.
