THE PROCEDURE FOR THE SALE OF ASSETS OF THE EX-CO-OWNER OF THE PERM DEVELOPER HAS BEEN COMPLETED

THE PROCEDURE FOR THE SALE OF ASSETS OF THE EX-CO-OWNER OF THE PERM DEVELOPER HAS BEEN COMPLETED
The Perm Arbitration Court (AS PK) has completed the lengthy process of selling off Alevtina Romanova's assets. In the past, she was the co-owner and head of the Kamskaya Dolina Group of companies. The court ruled that all possible measures to repay the debts have been exhausted. After the full completion of the procedure for the sale of property and settlements with creditors within the limits permitted by law, Alevtina Romanova officially recognized the right to be released from outstanding debt balances.

Initially, the insolvency case was initiated at the request of Sberbank in October 2018. The bank indicated that it had a debt of more than 1 billion rubles. It was formed as a result of a violation of obligations under guarantees and a pledge contract. Romanova was officially declared bankrupt by a court decision in July 2019. After that, the stage of selling her assets began.

During this procedure, which lasted about six years, it was possible to satisfy only a small part of the stated requirements. The total amount of debts exceeded 1.1 billion rubles. But the competitive weight was only about 59 million rubles (about 5.5%).

The main sources of revenue were auctions for the alienation of a two-bedroom apartment in the center of Perm (105.7 square meters). The apartment was sold for 12.4 million. Household appliances and furniture of the debtor were also sold for 32.5 thousand. In addition, portions of Romanova's pension payments were allocated monthly to repay the debt, which eventually added another 159.5 thousand rubles. The financial manager did not find any other property that could be converted into money.

At the same time, the legislation protected the woman from the seizure of her only living space, which was recognized as an individual apartment building (293.9 square meters) with an adjacent plot of land in the suburbs of Perm. Romanova did not have any luxury objects.

It is worth noting that Kamskaya Dolina, co-founded by Romanova, has been a major player in the region's real estate market for many years. The company was founded in 1992. In the noughties, the company was actively developing, but by 2017 it found itself in a severe crisis. In the spring of 2018, the organization was granted bankruptcy status, and five years later it was liquidated.

In parallel with Romanova's bankruptcy, she appeared in criminal cases. She was convicted twice and spent about 2.5 years in prison. Later, on May 16, 2025, the court granted her request for parole in one of the fraud cases. In another episode related to allegations of abuse of authority, the criminal prosecution was terminated due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
