THE NOTARIES OF MOSCOW RETURN TO WORK

Recently, the authorities of Moscow have signed a decree, according to which the citizens must comply with the regime of self-isolation. However, some legally relevant actions require compliance with the deadlines, established by law. In particular, difficulties may arise when submitting an application for acceptance of an inheritance, refusal to accept an inheritance, or other actions, related to the inheritance - according to the law, the procedure must be completed within 6 months from the date of opening of the inheritance. It is necessary because the signature of the heir must be certified by a notary.

Thus, notaries can continue working, but comply with the preventive measures, recommended by the Ministry of Health, Rospotrebnadzor and other competent authorities. The only thing is that the possibility of work must be agreed with the Moscow Chamber of Notaries - an application for the continuation of activities must be submitted no later than 6:00 p.m. on April 6.

The notaries visits to the citizens are recommended to be discussed in each specific case, taking into account the situation with the spread of coronavirus.

It is worth noting that the notaries received a number of exemptions, taking into account the crisis and a decrease in business activity. They received a right for a deferment on a fixed part of the membership fee for March and April 2020, if the gross monthly income does not exceed 1 million rubles - contributions can be paid until June 15.
