THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION APPROVED A FORM OF APPLICATION FOR EXTRAJUDICIAL BANKRUPTCY

The draft law amending the procedure for bankruptcy of citizens is gradually being prepared for the mass application. We are talking about extrajudicial bankruptcy, in case of which an individual independently submits an insolvency petition through the MFC.

The day before, the Ministry of Economic Development developed a draft application form and the corresponding requirements for it. According to the document, the application is submitted at the place of residence or actual stay of the applicant, while it can be filled in both by hand and on a computer.

In the first case, a citizen can use black, purple or blue ink and fill in the form in both block and capital letters. When filling in an application in typewritten form, it is necessary to use the Times New Roman font with a height of 10-12 points, and the two-sided printing of the document is not possible.

It is forbidden not only to make mistakes, but also to hold the sheets of the documents together.

The law on extrajudicial bankruptcy of citizens has already been adopted by the State Duma and is now awaiting approval by the Federation Council. If all the legislative procedures are passed, the bankruptcy mechanism through the MFC should start working from the beginning of fall.
