THE LIST OF COUNTRIES, NOT EXCHANGING TAX INFORMATION WITH THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IS APPROVED
The list includes those states which do not have agreements on the suppression of double taxation with the Russian Federation or those countries the agreements with which have not entered into force yet. According to the updated list, there are 98 states in it.
It is worth noting that Panama was planned to be excluded from the last year's list, however, the amendment was not included in the final version of the document. As for the 2020 list, Monaco could return to it, but this did not happen. Why the countries that do not exchange tax information with the Russian Federation are in the list of “bad countries”? The fact is that they can participate in tax evasion schemes. Russian residents reduce their tax burden by taking advantage of the difference in tax systems of the Russian Federation and the states in the FTO list.
