THE KNOWLEDGE DAY CELEBRATORY ASSEMBLIES MAY BE HOLD REMOTELY

On the eve of the day of knowledge, which is just over a month away, there are more and more opinions on the format of organization of the celebratory assemblies, given the situation with the coronavirus.

The day before, a representative of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection explained that the likelihood of remote celebratory assemblies still remained. However, in case of good weather and a favorable epidemiological situation, it will be possible to do it in the usual format on September 1.  

The representatives of the department separately noted that the situation with the spread of COVID-19 was different in each region, so the decisions on holding the assemblies would also be different.

The final decision on each region should be made by August 20.

At the same time, the chief epidemiologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia expressed concerns about a possible outbreak of morbidity during school celebratory assemblies hold in a standard format. The doctor called the coronavirus a disease of "organized groups", so people who stay in crowded places are at a special risk group.   

Despite this, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection notes that, in their opinion, the school administration is able to ensure that the necessary precautions are taken, in particular, by placing the groups of children at a sufficient distance from each other.
