THE FOUNDER OF THE LE'MURRR CHAIN OF STORES WAS DECLARED BANKRUPT
The co-founder of the Le'murrr pet store chain has been granted bankruptcy status. The corresponding decision was made by the court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region in the framework of the case initiated by Alfa-Bank. Now businessman Alexey Ivashchenkov is waiting for the procedure for the sale of his assets.

About 6 years ago, the bank provided Ivanko with a credit line of 150 million rubles. Obligations under this loan were secured by guarantees from Fogroup and the joint responsibility of Ivashchenkov as the owner of both companies.

After the termination of payments, which occurred in the fall of 2024, the debt on interest accrued over 90 days exceeded the mark of 10 million rubles. Alfa-Bank insisted on early repayment of the remaining debt (its amount was about 100 million). Then the credit institution initiated insolvency proceedings against both the borrower and both guarantors. Later, the bank "PSKB" joined the case, claiming 25 million rubles.

It is important to understand that the bankruptcy estate includes not only personal property, but also corporate rights. As experts explain, the share in the authorized capital is the debtor's asset. The manager is obliged to notify the company and may put this share up for auction.

Federal chains are leading in the St. Petersburg market today: ZooOptTorg (more than 75 outlets), Four Paws (59 locations). The local Petshop chain is represented by 142 stores. At the same time, Le Murrr has only 12 retail facilities.

The entrepreneur's personal property includes a country house with land of 0.2 hectares in the Leningrad Region. Fogroup's main asset is non–residential real estate (61 sq. m.) on Bogatyrsky Prospekt. It was estimated at 28 million rubles.

Interestingly, entrepreneur Ivashchenkov is still involved as a founder in the work of 9 companies with revenues of more than 1 billion last year. Among them is the Capella company, the former operating structure of the Le'murrr network. The insolvency case ended last November, as there were no funds available to finance the procedure. At the same time, creditors wanted to receive 128 million from the debtor.
