On April 28, the Omsk Arbitration court declared Vadim Manin, the former deputy chairman of the bankrupt Ecoprombank, bankrupt. The initiative to recognize the former head of the credit institution as insolvent on December 19, 2022 was made by the bankruptcy trustee of the bank. The amount of Manin's debt is 184.01 million rubles. The next court hearing in the case is scheduled for October 24.

Manin signed an employment contract with the bank in May 2014. After only three months, Manin's indefinite contract was terminated, since in August the regulator deprived the bank of its license. At the end of September, the organization was declared insolvent.

In December 2018, Manin was brought to criminal responsibility. A court in Perm sentenced him to 2.5 years in a penal colony. The state Corporation "DIA", which had the status of the injured party, received the right to recover damages in the amount of 122.7 million, Kommersant writes. As a result, a Land Cruiser 150 Prado, released in 2012, was seized from Manin.

After that, several more enforcement proceedings were initiated against Manin. However, it was not possible to foreclose on any other property. The search for him by the bailiffs did not bring any positive result. Losses in the amount of over 76 million rubles in the end have not been recovered, RBC clarifies.

The banker, as it is known, was convicted for the operation of removing collateral from 32 apartments owned by the company "Magnit-Invest". Their total cost is about 260 million. Manin's signature under the supplementary agreement to the loan agreement resulted in damage to the bank in the amount of over 122 million. It is believed that the Deputy chairman of the Management Board acted in the interests of the bank's co-owner Vladimir Nelyubin.

Nelyubin himself received the status of bankrupt back in 2016, however, the procedure continued until the end of April 2023. In 2018, the sale of the property of Sergey Makarov, ex-chairman of the Supervisory Board of the bank, began. Several other former bank managers are also in a delicate position. On May 22, Perm arbitration plans to deal with the bankruptcy of Alexey Likhachev, who worked at the bank as deputy chairman of the management Board. Losses from its activities are estimated at 56.6 million.

The same amount of damage must be paid by Tatiana Mazuka. The ex-head of the Treasury and concurrently the wife of the ex-head of the Board of the bank Andrey Tuev received the status of bankrupt on March 31, 2023. However, the woman is trying to protest the decision to restructure the debt. Her appeal is due to be considered on May 23.
