THE FEDERAL SERVICE FOR SUPERVISION OF CONSUMERS PROTECTION PROHIBITED MASS EVENTS FOR CHILDREN

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection prepared and published recommendations on the work of kindergartens, schools and other institutions working with children.

The document contains a number of rather strict rules, without compliance with which the functioning of such organizations will become impossible. In particular, the following measures were established by the end of the year:

⁃ the prohibition of holding various kinds of mass events is enshrined, the exception is made only for children's camps, with a proviso of holding such meetings outdoors and with the exception of direct interaction between the children’s units;

⁃ a recommendation has been established for schools to teach classes in separate rooms, with the exception of subjects that require the use of special equipment (for example, physics or physical education);

⁃ an obligatory daily disinfection of toys is fixed for preschool institutions, as well as the similar requirement for conducting classes separately for each group;

⁃ a requirement has been established for the daily measurements of body temperature, both for children and adults working with them, with recording information into a separate book of records;

⁃ the mandatory presence of antiseptics is fixed at the entrances to the children's institutions.

In addition, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection introduced a restriction, prohibiting children to spend holidays not in the regions of their residence, except for those who live in the Arctic zone.

As for the children from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol, they will have access to the camps located on territories bordering the cities with federal status.
