THE ENTREPRENEURS WILL BE MASSIVELY INCLUDED IN THE SME REGISTER

The day before, an online meeting of the Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs under President Boris Titov with the regional business ombudsmen took place. The difficulties, faced by the Russian entrepreneurs, as well as the possible solutions, were discussed during the meeting.

In particular, one of the biggest problems is the lack of data on the small and medium-sized enterprises in the list of SMEs, as it is known that the main support now is directed specifically to the organizations from this list.

In this regard, it was proposed to carry out unscheduled inclusion of entrepreneurs in the register of SMEs by May 1 of this year (usually such applications are accepted once a year on August 10). After the inclusion, it was decided to notify the entrepreneurs about this, indicating what measures of state support they can count on now.

In addition, a proposal was announced to introduce a moratorium on the inclusion of SMEs in the register of dishonest suppliers of the FAS by the end of the year due to their failure to fulfill the obligations on the state contracts due to a pandemic. It was proposed to exclude from the FAS black list those entrepreneurs, who have been in this register for at least a year and who are representatives of the SMEs.

The possibility of introducing the preferential lending to the entrepreneurs for the payment of wages with a rate of 0% has also been discussed at the meeting. We hope that soon these initiatives will work at the legislative level.
