THE CULPRIT OF THE RESIGNATION OF THE URAL EX-GOVERNOR IS ON THE VERGE OF BANKRUPTCY
Information about the intention of Ural-Service Group (USG) to initiate bankruptcy proceedings against Yuzhuralmost was published on Fedresurs. In the summer of 2022, USG collected a debt of 75.2 million rubles from the defendant.

Yuzhuralmost JSC became infamous in 2019. The antimonopoly authorities then established that the company participated in a cartel conspiracy during several auctions. All contracts, the price of which was reduced by only 1.5%, the firm successfully won. At the same time, the amount of agreements amounted to about 2.4 billion.

The head of the Chelyabinsk region participated in this scheme. The firm received a fine of 484.3 million rubles. Boris Dubrovsky resigned early in March 2019.

After that, large tenders were won by the firm "USG", little known to anyone up to this point. Employees of Yuzhuralmost (more than 3 thousand people) began to move to work at USG, and the company itself concluded subcontracting agreements for the repair of the road surface.

In the spring of 2021, the Metropolitan Arbitration Court (AS GM) considered the fateful decision of the FAS, which recognized the state contracts of Yuzhuralmost as the result of anti-competitive agreements, not in accordance with the law. At the beginning of 2022, the district court canceled this verdict.

This position of the arbitration of the Moscow district did not like the ex-governor and the company "Yuzhuralmost". They appealed to the Supreme Court with complaints. However, they did not consider the petitions of the participants of the scandalous story there.

In March 2022, Yuzhuralmost reported that it planned to self-destruct. This decision was made by the shareholders. But in November, the FSS appealed to the court, asking for interim measures. The company owed 21.8 million to the regional branch of the social insurance fund. As a result, the arbitration prohibited the tax authorities (MI FTS No. 17) from registering any changes in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities related to Yuzhuralmost JSC.

It is known that one of the beneficiaries of Yuzhuralmost is entrepreneur Sergey Vilshenko. He left the Russian Federation a few years ago. The court arrested the businessman in absentia in the fall of 2018, accusing him of embezzling 1.3 billion from JSC Russian Railways.
