THE CREDITOR DEMANDS THE BANKRUPTCY OF MEDPOLYMER WITH A DEBT OF MORE THAN 300 MILLION
In St. Petersburg, arbitration is considering a claim for insolvency of JSC "Firm Medpolymer". It is one of the largest manufacturers of solutions for infusions and sodium chloride in the North-West of the Russian Federation. The reason for the proceedings was a statement from the company Nefto-Invest Limited, which demanded that the company be declared bankrupt.

The creditor insists on introducing a monitoring procedure and including the debt in the register of claims – the amount of claims is over 306 million rubles. In addition, Nefto-Invest Limited proposed to appoint a temporary manager from among the specialists of the association "Sodruzhestvo". The court recognized the submitted application as complying with legislative norms and scheduled a meeting to assess the validity of the claims. It is scheduled for September 2, 2025.

Despite financial difficulties, Medpolymer Firm has been actively involved in the public procurement system until recently. Thus, under the leadership of Olga Svintsova, the organization concluded 839 contracts totaling about 3.8 billion rubles. The lion's share – 3.2 billion – is accounted for by transactions with the pharmaceutical company Drugstore Base, for which 26 contracts were signed.

However, in the last two years, the company's financial performance has begun to decline. By the end of 2024, the company's revenue amounted to 994 million, which is only 2.1% more than a year earlier. At the same time, the reporting year ended with a loss of 19.9 million. By comparison, losses were almost 60% higher in 2023.

Against the background of the deteriorating financial situation, the Federal Tax Service suspended the company's operations on settlement accounts. The relevant notifications have already been sent to the servicing banks. According to open sources, Nurutdin Gazikov and Zelimkhan Chakhkiev are among the shareholders of Medpolymer. Bankruptcy proceedings may become a key stage in the fate of the company, on whose activities the stability of the supply of vital drugs in the market of the region depends.
