THE COURTS ARE REQUIRED TO VERIFY INFORMATION ABOUT THE OUT-OF-COURT BANKRUPTCY OF CITIZENS
Information about the out-of-court bankruptcy of citizens, An appropriate information message was published on the website of the Dimitrovsky District Court of Kostroma.

As follows from the text of the message, when lawsuits are brought to the court against citizens for the recovery of consumer credit debts under the existing conditions [introduction of an out–of-court bankruptcy procedure against the debtor - ed.] courts need to check the presence of the defendant in the Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy Information.

It is worth noting that this position is not the guiding principle of the highest court, however, it can be assumed that over time similar initiatives will be implemented by other courts of various instances, and the failure to check for the introduction of an out-of-court bankruptcy procedure against citizens-defendants may become the basis for the cancellation of court decisions.
