THE COURT RECOGNIZED THE BONUSES TO GOOGLE EXECUTIVES AS LEGITIMATE ON THE EVE OF BANKRUPTCY
The Moscow Arbitration Court (AS GM) did not satisfy the petition of the bankruptcy trustee (KU) of Google (LLC). Valery Talyarovsky, who was previously appointed to this position, tried to recognize through the court the illegality of bonus payments sent to 31 Google executives. Their total amount was about 75 million rubles. The funds were paid shortly before the company became bankrupt. But the judge of the AC GM Valery Marasanov rejected CU's claim in full.

According to KOO, the bonus payments that the organization made in early 2022 were illegal. Among those who were listed as their recipients, KU found the surnames of Solovyova and Ramazanova. Both of them held key positions in the organization. Talyarovsky considered that both women should have realized by this time that the company had obvious signs of insolvency. The manager noted that 42% of the total amount of bonuses in 2021 went to 31 managers, and the rest to 165 ordinary employees.

During the hearing, the defendants stated that the bonuses were an element of the normal system of payments for work. They were regular in nature and were no exception to the company's financial practices. The size of the premiums also did not exceed the limits of market practice.

Google representatives provided financial data that in 2021 the company attracted 134 billion in revenue, and net profit amounted to 2.7 billion rubles. At the same time, only 108 million rubles were paid as bonuses.

AU GM declared the company bankrupt in the fall of 2023. The organization was placed under surveillance in November 2022 after the appeals court (9th AAC) opened the procedure at the request of the company.
