THE COURT IMPOSED SURVEILLANCE ON THE OUTDOOR ADVERTISING PROVIDER MEDIAMILES 16+
Mediamiles' financial problems have reached a new stage. The arbitration Court in St. Petersburg initiated a monitoring procedure in relation to the outdoor advertising supplier. This decision was the next step in the bankruptcy case, which is associated with debts of over 200 million rubles and lengthy litigation.

The situation around the company began to develop in the summer. On July 24, the company applied to arbitration to declare itself bankrupt, indicating the total amount of debts in 200.4 million rubles. On the same day, a similar demand was received from the provider Severen-Telecom, which insisted on bankruptcy of the debtor due to the outstanding rent for the equipment.

Since the beginning of last year, the company began to violate its obligations to the provider, owing more than 113 million by the time the lawsuit was filed. Attempts to resolve the conflict out of court were unsuccessful, and the dispute turned to the judicial plane. The appeal hearing in this case is scheduled for September 24.

The company's claim for its insolvency was officially accepted by arbitration on September 4. The court ordered the company to disclose key accounting and property information: to provide financial statements, data on debts, enforcement proceedings, and information from founders and employees. These materials formed the basis for the further process.

By the time of the meeting on October 14, the tax authorities of St. Petersburg (Federal Tax Service MI No. 25 and No. 15) had joined the case. In addition, the court sent a request to the Federal Tax Service in order to obtain information about the accounts and accounting of the debtor.

The company's problems affected not only the provider, but also others. The Yandex service.Taxi made claims for 62.4 million, Sirius - for 47.4 million. It is worth noting that the organization has actively cooperated with taxi services in the past, placing advertising materials on transport. However, the deterioration of financial performance has jeopardized the fulfillment of obligations to partners.

The financial situation of Mediamiles has deteriorated significantly in recent years. According to the fiscal authorities, all banking operations of the company have been suspended since July, and the relevant notifications have been received by major banks where the company's accounts were opened. Last year, the company recorded a loss of 79.5 million, receiving 255 million in revenue. A year earlier, it showed a profit (31.9 million). The introduction of the monitoring procedure became a natural development of events against the background of accumulated debts and the inability to repay them in the normal course of business.
