THE COURT BEGAN THE BANKRUPTCY OF MICROSOFT'S "DAUGHTER"
The Arbitration Court of the capital has introduced a monitoring procedure in Microsoft Rus LLC, the Russian subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation.
Alexander Ponomarenko, representing the Euro-Siberian Self-Regulatory Organization of Arbitration Managers, has been appointed interim manager of the "subsidiary" of the American corporation.
The substantive hearing of the insolvency case is scheduled for March 17.
On July 24, Microsoft Rus initiated bankruptcy proceedings in the arbitration court of the capital. In April of this year, according to Gazprombank's lawsuit, Microsoft Rus recovered 943 thousand dollars, about 887 thousand dollars of unjustified enrichment in the form of an unprocessed advance payment under the contract for the provision of Microsoft Unified Support services, as well as interest for using other people's finances and interest on the day of actual payment at the exchange rate of the Bank of Russia. Since 2022, the company has received more than 30 similar lawsuits.
