THE COURT ACCEPTED A CLAIM FOR 500 MILLION AGAINST «YUZHURALMOST»
The Chelyabinsk Arbitration Court (AS CHO) has launched a case to recover 535.2 million rubles from Yuzhuralmost JSC. The claim was received from the Moscow company Transregion LLC. The hearing is scheduled for March 4.

Yuzhuralmost JSC, whose legal address is located in Magnitogorsk, was founded a quarter of a century ago. The company has long been a key participant in the implementation of major infrastructure road repair projects in the region. The period from 2015 to 2018 was a time of active activity for the company as a general contractor, when it received a significant part of industry government orders.

Almost three years ago, bankruptcy proceedings were opened against Yuzhuralmost. The initiator was the Ural Service Group company. His tax structures are considered as an organization related to the defendant. At that time, the total amount of the company's debt exceeded 560 million rubles. The main part of the debt (about 450 million) is a fine imposed by the antimonopoly authority for participating in a cartel.

The insolvency proceedings were discontinued last spring. This happened after the ex-owner of the company, Gennady Wilshenko, fully paid off all obligations to creditors.

The plaintiff in the new lawsuit is Transregion. It was established in the capital of the Russian Federation 7 years ago. The organization works in the field of maintenance and operation of highways. The CEO and ultimate owner is Alexey Rapota. The company's assets include six organizations located in the region (Magistral and Technopark firms, Kartalinsky and Chebarkul road repair enterprises, and others).

It is worth noting that the original claim of Transregion was filed back in November last year, but the court left it without motion due to design flaws. After correcting the comments, on January 26, the application was accepted for production.

Of particular interest in the context of this case is the personality of Alexander Zyryanov. He was the head of Yuzhuralmost in the period 2016-2022. At the same time, he headed Technopark and Magistral until last year. Since February last year, he has been involved in a criminal case on embezzlement of budget funds. According to the investigation, at least 3 billion rubles were stolen during the execution of state contracts for road works in the Chelyabinsk region.
