THE COMPANY OF THE SON OF THE FORMER VICE-GOVERNOR OF ST. PETERSBURG WAS TAKEN UNDER SURVEILLANCE
A monitoring procedure has been initiated in relation to the Forum company associated with Alexey Govorunov, the son of the ex-vice-governor of St. Petersburg. The organization found itself in the center of bankruptcy proceedings due to debts exceeding 222 million rubles. The main amount is about 55.6 million, the rest is penalties and penalties accumulated over time.

The Forum company previously operated a well-known hotel on Voznesensky Prospekt, popular among connoisseurs of urban luxury. However, at the moment the business is in a difficult financial situation, and its assets are under threat.

The Moscow law firm O.K.B., registered under the name Photon, filed for bankruptcy in March 2025. It is headed by Alexandra Morozova. Already in June, the court recognized the creditor's claims as justified. The hearing on the case is scheduled for October 21. Until then, the debtor has little time left to try to change the course of events.

Things were not going well for the Forum before that. Back in early 2024, the investor of the hotel project, the R.E.D. company, appealed to the court with a demand to recover more than 54 million rubles. Then the arbitration court did not support the creditor's claims. But, as it is now clear, the company's problems turned out to be deeper than expected.

The situation is also aggravated by the parallel process against Alexey Govorunov himself. In April 2025, it was declared insolvent. His debt to creditors is over 212 million. At the same time, no debt restructuring plan was provided.

The property is currently being sold. Its completion is scheduled for the end of October, approximately at the same time as the next hearing in the Forum case. Alexey Kiselyevich, Interim Manager, oversees the company's monitoring process. His task is to assess assets, identify creditors' claims and determine the prospects for further bankruptcy proceedings.
