The co-owner of the Arteks wallpaper factory is facing bankruptcy lawsuits
The corporate dispute surrounding the Arteks wallpaper factory, which controls a fifth of the domestic market, has been accompanied by a series of legal attempts to declare one of its co-owners, Alexander Selenkin, bankrupt. However, all three lawsuits, filed by different creditors, failed to even make it past the initial court hearing.

The first lawsuit was filed in late September by the Fordewind microfinance organization. The microfinance institution demanded that the defendant recover over 37 million rubles. The arbitration court quickly identified incomplete documentation and dismissed the lawsuit.

A similar situation occurred with Anna Andreeva's lawsuit filed on November 11, which demanded that a debt of 10.9 million rubles be included in the register, but she failed to provide a receipt for payment of the state fee, information about her self-regulatory organization, or supporting documents. Just three days later, the court gave her one month to correct the deficiencies.

Another attempt to initiate bankruptcy proceedings was made on November 7. Marina Titorenko, the former owner of the closed hotel, attempted to initiate the bankruptcy proceedings. She wanted to recover approximately 13 million rubles from the defendant. However, the filings lacked basic documentation, including a copy of her passport and proof of debt. The arbitration court set a deadline of mid-December for correcting the errors.

Amid these events, the internal conflict at Arteks is escalating. Alexander Selenkin claims he has been removed from key management decisions, and his stake in the authorized capital has been reduced from 50% to 0.5% after it was increased from 10,000 to 10 million rubles. Now, almost all control is concentrated in the hands of Dmitry Skvortsov and Artem Makhov, who each hold 49.5%, while 0.1% belongs to the management company Mastertex, previously owned by Selenkin. Meanwhile, the company's capital remains pledged to Sberbank.

Selenkin views his bankruptcy attempts as part of a corporate standoff. The businessman announced his intention to defend his interests in arbitration court. The cumulative legal proceedings only heighten tensions around the company.
