THE CAPITAL'S INVESTORS BOUGHT OUT PART OF THE BUILDINGS OF THE NIZHNY NOVGOROD BANKRUPT PLANT
At the auction held for the sale of the property of the bankrupt Nizhny Novgorod machine-building plant "RUMO", the capital's companies announced their intention to purchase several facilities. The auctions were declared invalid, since each of the submitted lots received an application from only one bidder. But this, according to experts, still did not prevent organizations from concluding deals.
The most likely purpose of these acquisitions is the appearance of an industrial park on sites previously owned by the plant. It is known that the project was initiated by Dmitry Samorukov, the beneficiary of Samara-Aviagaz. He is also the head of the Board of Directors of RUMO.
The first lot was several buildings, including a polyclinic and a sports complex. According to sources, the capital's Industrial Park RUMO company wanted to buy them. She offered an initial price of 201.9 million for the objects. It is known that the organization has been in existence since 2020. Her specialty is the purchase and subsequent sale of real estate.
The second lot, consisting of a factory boiler room, interested the Moscow company Nika. She also announced her willingness to purchase it for an initial cost of 104.2 million. Despite the lack of competition, both companies received the right to purchase. According to the rules of bankruptcy proceedings, an auction can be considered successful even if there is one participant, if he offers a starting price.
Recall that the RUMO plant was declared insolvent in 2021. Rusbankrot covered the bankruptcy process of the oldest Nizhny Novgorod enterprise engaged in the production of engines in its publication.
In recent years, its areas have been used for the production of power equipment and large diesel engines under the control of the engineering company of the same name. It is assumed that Moscow investors will develop these industrial territories by creating infrastructure for a new industrial park.
