THE “BUSINESS RUSSIA” ORGANIZATION OFFERED THE CREDIT AND TAX HOLIDAYS FOR THE SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES
The collapse of ruble, the oil prices, and the spread of coronavirus infection - the beginning of the year broke the record for the number of problems. In the current conditions, governments of different countries are implementing measures, aimed at the support of the entrepreneurs and citizens, and Russia is not an exception.

Last week, the president issued an appeal, in which he outlined the necessary support measures. These measures’ active implementation is underway. The “Business Russia” public organization did not stand aside, having proposed its own package of anti-crisis measures. Here are some of the points that are proposed to keep the business afloat: 

  • introduction of the tax (property tax, land tax, income tax) and credit holidays;

  • reduction of the VAT rate to 10%;

  • moratorium on the tax audits;

  • subsidizing utility bills and contributions to the government funds;

  • the discounts for the taxi drivers in the “Yandex.Gas Station” service.

A special package of measures has been prepared by the “Business Russia” for the citizens:

  • subsidizing of the payments to mortgage borrowers;

  • the implementation of benefits to employees, sent on the forced leave without saving the salaries from the SIF funds;

  • 100% payments for the sick leave days from the SIF funds;

  • cancellation of parking fees in Moscow;

  • installation of disinfectants and protective equipment in the public transport: dispensers with gel, napkin holders, masks;

  • the state acquisition of masks, thermometers and sanitizers for the needs of taxi.
