THE BANKRUPTCY CASE OF THE CHEMICAL PHARMACEUTICAL PLANT IN THE ANGARA REGION WAS POSTPONED UNTIL OCTOBER.
The hearing on the insolvency of the Usolye-Siberian Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant, scheduled for mid-September, has been postponed again. The new date of the court session is set for October 14 (case no. A19-27266/2024).

The plaintiff in this case is Irkutsk Federal Tax Service No. 24, which asked the arbitration court to declare the company bankrupt. The first hearing on this case was held at the beginning of the year. Since then, postponements have been made several times. The plant petitioned the court to postpone the meeting in order to sign a settlement agreement. The court granted the petition. But in August, the case was postponed again.

To date, the plant's debts to the state amount to about 333.7 million rubles. At the end of 2022, the tax authorities already demanded that the company be declared insolvent. Then they referred to the debt in the amount of 356 million. But in May of the following year, the parties to the conflict agreed to make peace.

The chemical pharmaceutical plant appeared in the Angara region almost 60 years ago. Four years later (in 1970), the first production facility for the production of analgin was established at the enterprise. As long as the USSR existed, the plant remained unique. He was the only one who produced a number of unique pharmaceutical products. The organization turned out to be the flagship of the domestic pharmaceutical industry.

Since 2002, the company has become a joint-stock company. The regional authorities have added it to the list of systemically important ones. Today, the company produces various pharmaceutical substances, including psychotropic and potent substances. The plant also produces medicines.
