The SB-Agro company, which grows organic products, declared its insolvency in early March. A few days ago, the company introduced a bankruptcy procedure – supervision. The decision on this was made by the Arbitration of the Republic of Adygea after studying the materials submitted by the plaintiffs. The court appointed Olga Edygova as interim manager.

The company appeared in the Maikop district in 2015. The company, in which 50% belongs to the capital firm Ag-Invest, specialized in growing vegetables. One of the beneficiaries of SB-Agro is entrepreneur Marat Abagagov (his share is 43.99%). Igor Shchetinin is also among the founders with a share of just over 6%.

According to the results of work in 2022, the organization turned out to be unprofitable in the amount of 435 thousand, Kommersant writes. The company's revenue last year amounted to 6.2 million.

A few years ago, the company began implementing a republican investment project for the construction of a greenhouse complex for growing products. In 2018, two greenhouses were erected on the territory of Kurdzhipskaya station on an area of 1 hectare, where seedlings for vegetable crops were grown.

40 hectares of open ground was equipped with an automatic irrigation system for the production of greens (salads, radishes, garlic, arugula). In total, the company owns 85 hectares of land and a garden for growing nuts.

The agreement between the authorities of the republic and SB-Agro, signed at RIF-2018, assumed the receipt of investments in the amount of half a billion rubles. In particular, it was reported that the company organized workshops for packaging products (up to 3 tons per shift), equipped a water treatment system, installed refrigeration equipment and a unit for filling the packaging with a nitrogen-carbon mixture.

In the region, the company's products were known under the brands "Eco Kuban" and "Kuban Farm". SB-Agro also helped local farmers to put land plots into economic circulation, grow and package products competently.
