TAX AUTHORITIES WERE UNABLE TO BANKRUPT ORELDORSTROY DUE TO PARTIAL SETTLEMENT
The Orel Arbitration Court (AS OO) issued a ruling, returning the claim of the Federal Tax Service, in which the agency demanded to recognize the insolvency of Oreldorstroy JSC. The reason for the return of the document was a partial transfer of funds by the debtor. The company repaid 10 million rubles, after which the main sign of bankruptcy disappeared – the delay in fulfilling obligations for more than three months.

Earlier, the court had already left the complaint of the tax authorities without motion. The inspectors did not attach evidence of sending a copy of the application to the debtor himself, and also violated the procedure for posting a notice of intent to launch bankruptcy proceedings. These procedural errors also played a role in the fate of the claim.

Initially, the fiscal authority claimed a debt of 21.6 million rubles. Of this amount, the principal debt was 20.4 million, and the penalties were 1.2 million. At the same time, almost half of the claims (10.9 million) related to the second stage – these were unpaid insurance premiums and personal income tax. The remaining debt was transferred to the third stage. However, the fact that the organization eliminated the key symptom of insolvency made it possible to return the application without considering its merits.

Oreldorstroy has been operating since December 1992, the main focus is the construction of highways. Who exactly owns the company now is not specified in open databases. Vasily Kolodezny holds the post of CEO. The Board of Directors includes Oksana Tsybulya, Vladimir Bashtrykov, Ivan Shamrin and Maria Mayevskaya.

The company remains a significant player in the government procurement market. During its activity, it has concluded almost 140 contracts, the total value of which amounted to about 19 billion. One of the latest large–scale projects is the agreement on the creation of infrastructure in the Lipetsk SEZ (signed in early 2024 in the amount of 686.8 million).

The company's financial performance is mixed. Revenue by the end of 2024 reached 551.9 million, which is 18% lower than in the previous period. At the same time, net profit increased from 286 thousand to 2.2 million. At the time of the court dispute, information on financial results for 2025 had not been published.
