ST. PETERSBURG BAKERY THREATENED WITH BANKRUPTCY
The bread factory "Arnaut" was under the threat of bankruptcy. The corresponding intentions were announced on the Fedresurs portal by the Tensor Legal law firm, publishing a message No. 13401386. The publication is dated October 4, 2022.

In the past, the firm represented the interests of PlanetaAvto, one of the partners of the Arnaut Chemical Plant. The organization has been trying to recover about 2.3 million rubles of debt from the enterprise for a long time, which is confirmed by the decision of several judicial instances. The right to collect the debt was obtained by Tensor Legal as a result of the assignment. However, the plant's management is in no hurry to part with the money, despite the verdict of the XIII Arbitration Court of Appeal.

The deputy head of the Arnaut Agricultural Enterprise, Kristina Koltovskaya, explained in an interview with the media that the company considers the amount of debt insignificant, disputes the decision of the arbitration court and hopes for a successful resolution of the conflict in cassation, where the case should be considered at the end of October 2022.

Experts note that the revenue of the manufacturer of bakery products in 2021 is really quite significant. This may mean that the bankruptcy process is unlikely to be started in the future. Most likely, the bread factory will try to resolve the conflict before the case is given a course in the arbitration court.

However, experts pay attention to the reorganization that the Arnaut Refinery has undertaken this year. Three business companies were identified. And although there could be different reasons for such steps, experts believe that in this way the company's management could begin preparing for a possible bankruptcy in order to minimize its negative consequences.
