ROSTOV POULTRY FARM IS APPROACHING BANKRUPTCY
A crisis situation has developed at the Belokalitvinskaya Poultry Farm in the Rostov region. According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, released on November 28, the company is in a difficult situation due to management errors and decisions of the owners. The poultry population of almost 500 thousand heads, as well as the employment of about 200 people, was under threat.

The grain company KBK-Export is acting as the initiator of the future insolvency procedure. This organization has officially notified about its intention to file for bankruptcy of the company.

To resolve the situation, the regional authorities, in cooperation with the creditor bank, are actively looking for a new investor who can bring the factory out of the crisis. The focus is on restoring the full production cycle and maintaining a viable livestock population.

At the same time, the Rosselkhoznadzor commission is working at the facility, which analyzes the sanitary and epidemiological condition and assesses the potential for continued work.
It is worth noting that through the mediation of the ministry, wage arrears to employees were previously repaid, which helped to relieve social tension in the team.

The company has been operating since 1992. According to information from the official website, the production facilities include four buildings for laying hens (each with 154 thousand heads), the same number of workshops for growing broilers (with a capacity of 43 thousand heads each), as well as an incubator, an egg storage workshop, its own feed mill, a slaughterhouse and other facilities.

The financial results for 2024 demonstrate serious problems: with revenue of 617.9 million rubles, the company suffered a net loss of 60.2 million rubles. This situation has predetermined the current risks of bankruptcy initiation.
